Leaf Scatter And Wind System - Aniamted
Get this modelCOMPLETE DOCUMENTATION is included inside the Geometry Nodes and in Blender’s Text Editor as README_Dried_Leaves_Wind_System.
Dried Leaves Wind System is a procedural Geometry Nodes asset for scattering and animating eight editable, atlas-textured leaf variants across a target surface. It includes controls for density, scale, masks, procedural noise, vortex and gust effectors, turbulence, drag, landing, and optional collection-based collisions.
The persistent simulation supports vortex capture, irregular orbiting, motion lag, breakaway, gust acceleration, lift, recapture, and smooth rotation. All major scattering, motion, physics, and collision settings are exposed in the modifier.
For setup details, read the included documentation rather than relying only on the extensive node graph.
Leaf textures were scanned with LUMEN-PS, my open-source texture-scanning tool on GitHub.
The output is designed to remain consistent across the viewport, Eevee, Cycles, rendering, preview, and evaluated export. Density and collider complexity are the main performance controls. Start playback from frame 1 when rebuilding the simulation.
