Build detailed warehouse racks in Blender
ShelfBuilder Generator by Mars0hod lets you create editable storage racks, complete warehouse rows and varied cargo from one sidebar. Choose a preset, adjust the dimensions and populate your shelves with automatic updates as you work.
Ideal for industrial environments, warehouse visualisations and scene backgrounds.
Four storage systems
Pallet Rack — pallet storage with adjustable beams, levels and positions per bay.
Long Span — shelving for cartons, containers and general goods.
Cantilever — single- or double-sided storage for timber, pipes, tubes, I-beams and sheets.
Drive-In — deep storage with multiple pallet positions from front to back.
Create complete warehouse rows
Adjust rack width, height, depth, bays and shelf levels. Set row counts, aisle spacing and back-to-back arrangements. Add diagonal bracing, floor anchors, shelf decking and yellow-and-black protective guards.
Each rack stores its own settings. Select a generated part to edit its rack, enable automatic updates or apply changes manually.
Populate your shelves
Choose cardboard cartons, wooden crates, plywood transport cases, plastic bins, steel drums or mixed cargo. Cantilever racks support dedicated long-stock loads.
Control carton quantities, sizes and stacking layers, including partially filled top layers. Adjust cargo density while keeping pallets in place. Use random seeds to explore different arrangements or reproduce a layout.
Close-up details
Generate rack hardware, layered pallet construction, carton flaps, packing tape, barcode labels, crate boards and fasteners, moulded container details and drum fittings.
Plywood transport cases include framed panels, metal corner hardware and integrated forklift-entry bases. Storage labels identify sections and levels with compact addresses such as A1 and B3, or a more detailed address format.
Materials and surface variation
Bundled 2K and 4K wood textures include colour, roughness and normal maps. Procedural materials provide additional finishes for metal, cardboard and plastic.
Adjust wear, dirt and shade variation, or assign your own materials. Separate layout and material variation seeds let you change the finish while preserving the arrangement.

Requirements
Blender 4.5 or newer recommended. Minimum version declared by the add-on: 4.2. No account or internet connection is required during use. Generation time and memory requirements depend on the layout size, cargo quantity and selected detail level.
ShelfBuilder generates geometry for visualisation; it does not calculate structural load capacity.
