Marmoset Toolbag Bridge

Tag high- and low-poly meshes, send a ready-to-bake Marmoset Toolbag scene and return finished maps as Blender materials. No Toolbag-side installation is needed.

Windows only. Requires your own Marmoset Toolbag license and installation. No Marmoset software or license is included. Tachyon Studio is independent of Marmoset.

Select → Send → Bake → Import

Open the Universal Bridge tab in Blender's sidebar with N. Select your assets, tag their high/low roles, send them to Toolbag, then import the baked maps.

Tools included

• Create Bake Scene: prepare a ready-to-bake scene, optionally starting the bake immediately. Toolbag 3–5 are supported; unavailable settings are skipped.
• High / Low Tagging: assign mesh roles and pair matching names automatically.
• Bake Maps: normal, AO, curvature, thickness, height, position, ID and albedo, with per-map settings.
• Output Control: resolution, bit depth, samples, padding, formats and output names.
• Send to Marmoset: transfer meshes, empties and armatures for look development, with material and modifier options.
• Import Baked Maps: find the baked files and build a Principled material on the low-poly mesh.
• Reuse & Auto-Detect: detect Toolbag installations and reuse a running instance through the resident listener.
• Shared tools: preflight, naming, selection sets, history, versioned files and batch sending. Choose branded, monochrome or native icons.

Requirements and setup

• Blender 4.2–5.2: this listing supplies the extension-format ZIP. The separate legacy Blender 3.3–4.1 package is not part of this download.
• Windows: macOS and Linux are not supported.
• Marmoset Toolbag 3, 4 or 5: installed separately, normally under Program Files/Marmoset.
• Local file exchange; the bridge workflow does not need an external internet service.
• Works independently; Universal Bridge Manager is included.
