Comp from EXR without rewiring
You built the comp against Render Layers. Now you want to work from the rendered multilayer EXRs instead of re-rendering every time you nudge a curve — which means swapping every socket by hand, and swapping them all back when you re-render.
EXReplace does the swap in one step. It matches the passes on your Render Layers node to the layers in a multilayer EXR and moves every existing connection across, keeping your node tree exactly as it is.
- Render Layers to EXR, and back again
- Matches passes by name, keeps every downstream link intact
- Works with multilayer EXR sequences
- Nothing else in your comp is touched
