The Bechowiec-1 was a rare, clandestine submachine gun designed and produced by the Polish resistance (Bataliony Chłopskie) during World War II. Developed in secrecy by engineer Henryk Strąpoć between 1943 and 1944, approximately 11 units were hand-manufactured in hidden blacksmith shops.
