From the beginning it is an essential part of our mission to support Blender as a great Open Source software. Therefore, whenever you buy Full Plan, you don’t only support us, the founders of Blendkit (formerly BlenderKit), but mostly you support the amazing Blendkit creators and Open source. We collect 15% of the redistributions that our system makes internally in an internal Open Source fund.
In October 2020, we stepped up our membership in Blender Development Fund from 'Diamond Membership' to ‘Corporate Bronze’. This made us especially happy and you are the ones we need to thank.

As you can see, the amount of the internally amassed open-source money is higher than the amount of the money sent to the Blender Foundation. That’s because the foundation website allows only definitive amounts to be sent each month.
And what's next?
When Blendkit revenue continues to grow and the level of our internal Open-source fund reaches several thousand Euro per month, we would love to also supply grants directly to developers. Another dream we have is to support additional Open Source projects. These are just two of our long-term goals.
