Get this modelThe Austen (short for "Australian Sten") is a 9mm submachine gun developed by Australia during World War II as a localized improvement of the British Sten gun. While it retained the basic receiver and side-loading magazine of the Sten, the Austen incorporated several features from the German MP40, including a folding wire stock, a forward vertical pistol grip, and a telescoping cover for the recoil spring.
