Curved Weathered Rock Strata

Broad, curved rock strata with worn shelves and irregular fractures. Useful for rounded cliff faces, eroded boulders and flowing rock formations.

A single-dab Draw brush for Sculpt mode, with a packed 4096 x 4096, 16-bit grayscale height texture. The preview shows a real single sculpt stamp on a sphere. The soft circular falloff blends the edge of each stamp into the surrounding surface. Area Plane mapping follows the local surface orientation. Use individual clicks for controlled placement and vary the position or rotation between stamps to avoid an obvious repeated motif. Start on a dense mesh or a suitable Multiresolution level; a coarse mesh cannot capture the smaller ridges. The starting brush size uses scene units. Adjust the size to your model and tune Strength for shallow surface work or stronger rock relief. This is a height-based sculpt brush, not a vector displacement brush. The source image is included in the blend file; no external texture download is needed.
