Dense Flint Glass Dispersion
Get this materialPhysically-modeled dense-flint dispersion glass, built from Schott N-SF11's own published Sellmeier constants (datasheet 785257.322), not tuned by eye. N-SF11 has an Abbe number of 25.68 - roughly 2.5x the dispersion of ordinary N-BK7 crown glass - which is why dense flints like this one are the standard choice whenever a strong, visible color-separation effect is the point (prism demonstrations, achromatic-doublet designs). Refractive indices per channel (R 1.77894 @630nm, G 1.79482 @532nm, B 1.81344 @465nm) come from the full 3-term Sellmeier equation, checked against the datasheet's own tabulated nF/nd/ne/nC reference values to within 0.00002. Channel tint colors are the CIE 1931 color-matching function's actual response at each sampled wavelength. Uses the standard three-IOR additive-Glass-BSDF technique for Cycles/Eevee, since neither renders true spectral dispersion by default. Same CIE 1931 code already shipped and tested in Caustify's spectral-core package; the Sellmeier physics here is more rigorous than the 2-term Cauchy fit used in this creator's N-BK7 Crown Glass Dispersion material.
