Stylized Sea Sponge
Get this modelThe tube spire sponge is a slender species of sea sponge that grows in small clusters on sheltered coral reef floors and sandy seabeds. Its body forms a series of smooth, tapering tubes that rise upright or at gentle angles, each ending in a rounded opening through which water is drawn and expelled. The surface is marked by soft vertical striations and scattered, bead-like nodules. Tube sponges are especially notable for their contrasting horizontal color zones, which may appear in cool blues and coral pinks, vivid orange and violet, or muted cream and earth tones. These sponges thrive in calm to moderate currents, where they filter microscopic organisms and organic particles from the surrounding ocean. Growing at different heights within the same colony, they create elegant, reed-like formations. Stylized asset
